David J. Redmond, senior vice president, provides financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners for all types of income producing properties including office, apartments, hotels, industrial and retail in the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Redmond was managing director of Penrose Financial Services, the mortgage banking arm of The Penrose Group, a developer, owner and investor in commercial real estate. Prior to Penrose, he was a partner and founder of Purcell Capital. Prior to Purcell Capital, Mr. Redmond was a vice president at Smith Barney Inc. and director of multifamily structured transactions at Freddie Mac. Mr. Redmond is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cortland College and a diploma in real estate investment and analysis from New York University.
