Job Summary: This position provides administrative and personal support to the Chief Production Officer and Multifamily Finance departments. In addition to basic administrative duties, works on special department projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
Project Management
Uses an understanding of the department’s operations and business objectives to proactively assist the Chief Production Officer.
Serves the primary point of contact for the Multifamily Finance department on routine items. Regularly interfaces with other colleagues, departments, external customers and outside agencies in a highly professional manner to manage day-to-day operations and potential issues. Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
Reviews and prepares miscellaneous reports and documents as required, often on short notice; runs production reports and compiles background documents as necessary for meetings.
Schedules and organizes complex business activities such as meetings, conferences and departmental events.
Administrative
Coordinates Chief Production Officer’s calendar, travel and contacts.
Manages the Chief Production Officer’s calendar and expenses, develops and maintains the Chief Production Officer’s filing system and provides general office support including: phone coverage, word processing and proof reading.
Answers phones, takes messages and fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions. Collaborates with other Assistants to cover phones.
Works closely with the other assistants on a variety of day-to-day assignments and special initiatives.
Prepares general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
Maintains superior organization of highly confidential business, personal paperwork and personnel records.
Engages in other duties as assigned with enthusiasm.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
1-3 years of experience in a corporate setting, working on special projects requiring analytical, administrative, technical, and interpersonal skills preferred

Position Summary: Walker & Dunlop (“WD”) seeks an experienced mortgage securities trader to support our production efforts. The Trader will work closely with the Company’s producers, the underwriting department and closing department to manage the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD rate lock and trading processes.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Strong working knowledge of market participants, pricing and securities fundamentals o Develop relationships with trading partners and understand investor preferences and sensitivities. o Understand market security pricing fundamentals and investor program requirements for fee sharing. Determine optimum pricing structures and rates for WD. o Proactively analyze market conditions and pricing to maximize WD’s financial results from trades.
Proactive communication of market conditions to both market participants and WD employees: o Monitor market conditions and indicators, synthesize information, and develop and maintain communication to producers and management. o Develop and maintain communicating process with trading partners about upcoming trades. Serve as primary contact in discussing WD pipeline and in gathering preliminary bids and helping producers set borrower expectations to prepare for rate lock. o Work with borrowers when requested to provide them with clarity around the process as well as an understanding of market developments and to answer questions as they arise.
Execute rate locks for borrowers in accordance with WD directives and borrower requirements. Current process includes but is not limited to: o Be fully aware of Senior Management directives for trading, including warehouse, premium and servicing. o Ensure loan has been fully approved by underwriting and you have all the necessary closing input regarding required closing dates. Review package to ensure all key process steps have been completed (i.e. final u/w sign off, agreement from closing department, etc). o Develop and manage street communication protocol and rate lock process to ensure the market has more than adequate lead time to price and size securities, especially given any nuances of the transactions. o Gather live bids and execute trades for Fannie Mae and HUD deals, working to meet borrower expectations and to maximize income and value for WD. o Communicate trade color. Work with bidders to understand bid ranges and anomalies and use that information to ensure best execution on future trades. o Utilize corporate technology infrastructure for transparent communication/documentation of final trades, o Complete and distribute final trade sheets. Review trade confirmations for accuracy to make sure they reflect the trade that was executed. Ensure the signed trade confirmation is returned to the investor and the required good faith deposit is sent. o Follow up to ensure that securities deliveries to investors are smooth and timely, and that good faith deposits are returned. Troubleshoot any issues which may arise.
Work with CCO to evaluate new investors wishing to do business with WD. Explain the WD process. Take the lead in negotiating the form of trade confirmation.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree (prefer finance and/or real estate concentration). MBA a plus.
Prefer 3+ years of trading experience. Multifamily GSE agency experience a plus.
Strong relationship building skills for both internal and external partners.
Solid written and oral communication skills for complex subject matters
Excellent financial modeling and analytic skills including thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
Detail oriented, organized and accurate. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work productively in time sensitive situations.
Job Summary: Responsible for processing monthly collection, and investor remittance for life insurance company loans. Prepare monthly billing calculation for ARM loans to include submitting information to borrower to ensure payment in a timely manner, updating Enterprise, and reporting to Lender. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation in Lender required format or in accordance with USAP, and Reg AB guidelines. Monitor and assist in the UCC process performed by Midland for Non-Life company loans, and perform all functions related to UCC for Life Insurance company loans.
Primary Responsibilities:
Generate daily cash collection report and confirm receipt in bank account
Prepare remittance report, wire, ACH to Life Companies.
Determine ARM rates in accordance with loan documents, prepare billing, and process cash as collected.
Prepare bank reconciliations by Lender due dates or in conformance to USAP and Reg AB guidelines. Submit to Lenders or Master Servicers as required by servicing contracts.
Prepare and remit interest to Sunlife of Canada and AIG monthly, and refund final interest accrued on paid in full loans.
Monitor and assist Midland personnel with data necessary to continue UCC for Non-Life companies.
Prepare continuation statements, and file with authorities. Monitor receipt updating Enterprise or follow up with filing jurisdictions as necessary.
Prepare and submit Month end reports for Sunlife of Canada.
Prepare audit confirmations.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college.
Minimum of three years’ experience with processing Servicing receivables, and UCCs. Experience in commercial real estate a plus.
Ability to competently complete multiple tasks simultaneously with an appropriate attention to detail.

Understanding of real estate finance and secondary market concepts and loan documentation.

Position Summary: Walker & Dunlop seeks an Analyst to assist production efforts in our Walnut Creek office. The Analyst will primarily assist in sizing loans, underwriting loans and gathering/organizing due diligence for loans related to multifamily agency transactions.
Primary Role and Responsibilities: Specific goals and duties in serving as Production Analyst for Walker & Dunlop are as follows:
Participate in weekly Pipeline and Production Meetings and be prepared to discuss current status of all Active deals in the Pipeline.
Prepare and present Loan Quote forms and necessary due diligence information for each property loan request received.
Prepare detailed Lost Deal Reports for every deal lost to competitors.
Prepare Transition Memos with deal-specific information (borrower, structure, pricing, timing, etc.) within 24 hours of receipt of acceptable loan applications.
Participate in Kick-Off Meetings with Walker & Dunlop Producer, Underwriter and Closer for all loans under application.
Coordinate with Correspondent, Walker & Dunlop Producer and Underwriter on receipt and review of underwriting due diligence items for all loans under application.
Make History entries in Salesforce for all Active deals at least once per week.
Prepare Trip Planners for Producers prior to all Correspondent and Borrower visits.
Interact with the producer and the broker and/or borrower in the collection of the necessary due diligence to financing multifamily properties
Make recommendations to the producer regarding loan proposals and will participate in the initial underwriting process
Serve as a liaison between Underwriting and Closing, and the producer throughout the underwriting and closing process
Travel with the producer and participate in initial property inspections throughout the country
