J. Tyler Blue, executive vice president, joined Walker & Dunlop as an analyst in 1986. For the past 24 years, Mr. Blue has arranged in excess of $7 billion in commercial mortgage financing. Mr. Blue is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the District Council of the Urban Land Institute, and the Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Blue has served on the Housing Committee for the District of Columbia Building Industry Association. Mr. Blue is a member of the board of directors for the Aberdeen and Rockfish Railroad Company and is active with numerous local charities. He also serves on the board of trustees of the Primary Day School. Mr. Blue graduated in 1983 from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in history.
