Ryan Herron joined the Production Department of Walker & Dunlop as a loan officer in 2009 to specialize in multifamily and healthcare financing through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD executions. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Herron was a Commercial Underwriter at Suremark Consulting, LLC, which he founded in August 2005 to provide financial institutions with analytical support throughout various aspects of the commercial loan underwriting process. During his tenure at Suremark Consulting, LLC, Mr. Herron was responsible for underwriting over $1 billion in acquisition and/or refinance transactions for all property types, with an emphasis on multifamily assets. In addition, Mr. Herron worked as a Senior Valuation Analyst for Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting as well as for American Appraisal Associates where he managed the execution of independent value assessments related to the appraisal of businesses and intangible assets. In 2001, Mr. Herron graduated with distinction, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
